Here are preview capsules for all of Sunday’s upcoming NFL games, as well as Monday.

Dolphins at Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins are both 5-1 when they meet on Sunday night. The Eagles are led by quarterback Jalen Hurts and the Dolphins by QB Tua Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa and Hurts have each flourished as two of the top young quarterbacks in the NFL. But the QBs who go head-to-head for the first time in the NFL will forever be linked by their tenures under coach Nick Saban at Alabama.

Tagovailoa leads the NFL in passing yards and touchdown passes. Hurts was the NFL MVP runner-up and led the Eagles to the Super Bowl last season.

49ers at Vikings

The San Francisco 49ers are coming off their first loss of the season with a visit to the Minnesota Vikings up next. Quarterback Brock Purdy had the first bad start of his young career for the 49ers in a 19-17 loss at Cleveland. The 49ers have not won at Minnesota in six games since 1992. The 49ers are 5-1. The Vikings are 2-4. Kirk Cousins made his first start at quarterback for the Vikings in a 24-16 win over the 49ers in 2018.

Cardinals at Seahawks

The Seattle Seahawks are hoping for a quick rebound from last week’s loss when they host the Arizona Cardinals.

The Seahawks lost for the fourth straight year coming out of their bye week, falling 17-13 at Cincinnati in a game where Seattle scored just 10 points in five red-zone trips.

Arizona was thumped last week in Los Angeles against the Rams as injuries continue to mount for the Cardinals. After picking up their first win in Week 3 against Dallas, the Cardinals have been outscored 95-45 in the past three games.

Steelers at Rams

The Los Angeles Rams conclude a three-game homestand with a rare visit from the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rams superstar Aaron Donald will face his hometown team for only the third time in his career. Los Angeles could struggle on the ground after losing its top two running backs to injury in last week’s win over Arizona. The Steelers’ offense is unimpressive, but could be well-prepared coming off a bye and it could get a boost with the return of receiver Diontae Johnson. The Rams’ secondary could be short-handed if starting cornerback Derion Kendrick doesn’t play following his arrest.

Raiders at Bears

Be prepared for a heavy dose of backup quarterbacks when the Chicago Bears host the Las Vegas Raiders. The Bears were working under the assumption that rookie Tyson Bagent would start after Justin Fields exited their loss to the Minnesota Vikings with a dislocated right thumb. The Raiders weren’t quite as sure who would be taking snaps for them. Jimmy Garoppolo is out after injuring his back in last week’s win over New England. That means veteran Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O’Connell will start. Bagent went undrafted last spring after a record-setting career at Division II Shepherd University in West Virginia. He took over for Fields last week.

Chargers at Chiefs

The Chiefs and Chargers are bringing two very different defenses into their matchup at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday. The Chiefs have the second-ranked scoring defense in the league, one that has helped to bail out an offense that has been good but that quarterback Patrick Mahomes thinks has yet to hit its stride. The Chargers have allowed more yards than all but one other team in the league, which has dragged down an offense that has been similarly good at times.

Packers at Broncos

The Green Bay Packers visit the Denver Broncos on Sunday in a matchup of teams with quarterbacks who have cooled off considerably after hot starts. Jordan Love threw six touchdown passes in his first two starts but has thrown six interceptions in his last three. Wilson’s numbers rivaled those of Patrick Mahomes through the first month of the season, but he’s coming off his worst game as a Bronco. He was held under 100 yards passing by the Kansas City Chiefs last week and he’s been sacked eight times and has three turnovers in his last two games.

Bills at Patriots

There was a time when the Buffalo Bills traveled to New England looking to prove they could give the Patriots a fight at the top of the division. This season, New England is enduring its worst start in more than two decades and is just hoping to put up any kind of fight against the Bills. Buffalo hasn’t performed up to its offensive standards over its past two games. But the Bills have won their last four meetings with the Patriots. New England broke a 12-quarter touchdown drought in last week’s loss at Las Vegas, but faces a Buffalo defense that is giving up just 14.8 points per game.

Lions at Ravens

The Detroit Lions play at Baltimore this weekend. It’s the first meeting between the teams since Justin Tucker’s 66-yard field goal won the game for the Ravens at Detroit in 2021. That was the third game of coach Dan Campbell’s tenure with the Lions. It took him until December to win one. But Detroit is in a much different spot entering this matchup of division leaders. The Lions are one of five teams in a tie for the NFL’s best record at 5-1. The Ravens are 4-2 and lead the AFC North.

Commanders at Giants

The Washington Commanders and New York Giants came into the season with the goal of closing the gap on the perennial frontrunners in the NFL East, the Philadelphia Eagles and Dallas Cowboys. Inching toward the halfway point and a game with New York at MetLife Stadium on Sunday, the Commanders are 3-3 and a lot closer to success than the offensively inept Giants. New York has lost four straight. It has a 1-5 record and is last in the league in scoring with 71 points.
