Cheer wraps up season
The second Big Island Interscholastic Federation (BIIF) co-ed cheer meet of the fall season took place Tuesday night in Kealakehe’s gymnasium.
Hilo, Kea‘au and Konawaena competed, with the Vikings coming out on top with a final score of 34.500 and accumulating the same raw score.
The Cougars finished right behind Hilo, tallying a final score of 26.583 with a 28.083 raw score.
The Wildcats claimed third, scoring just under Kea‘au with a 26.067 final score with the same raw tally.
The final meet of the season — the Central Pacific Bank/BIIF Championship — will take place 5 p.m. Wednesday at Kea‘au High School.
