Judith “Judi” Kay Bond, 71, of Kailua-Kona died May 13 in Honolulu. Born in Pennsylvania, she was administrator of the Counseling and Health Care Building on the University of Nations campus in Kona and member of the Kona Coast Chaplaincy. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday, June 17, on the grassy area of the Kona Inn on Alii Drive in Kailua-Kona. Survived by cousins, Sheila and Ray Livingston of Georgia and others on mainland. Arrangements by Nuuanu Mortuary.

Edward Medeiros, 91, of Keauhou Mauka died April 26 at home. Born in South Kona, he was a retired forklift leaderman for Young Brothers Ltd., coffee farmer, deep-sea fisherman and cattle rancher. Wake service and fellowship 3-9 p.m. Friday, July 7, at Honaunau Rodeo Arena, 84-5119 Keala O Keawe Rd. Visitation 7:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8, at Honauanu Rodeo Arena. Funeral service, celebration of life presentation and luncheon at 9:30 a.m. Drive-through the Honaunau boat ramp at 2 p.m. Burial to follow at Kona Memorial Park. Casual attire; flowers and lei welcome. Survived by daughters, Maile (Russel) David II, of Hookena and Shirley (Terry) Bird of Keauhou Mauka; son, Rick (Avis) Medeiros of Oahu; sister, Mona Oliver of California; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
