Roy T. Ige, 84, of Keaau died May 24 at home. Born in Los Angeles, he owned The Palm Connection. No services. No known survivors. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Lawrence “Larry” B. Jones Jr., 84, of Naalehu died May 7 at home. Born in West Virginia, he retired from the former Ka‘u Sugar Co., worked for South Point Tracking Station and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at Naalehu Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Eulogy at 9:30 a.m. Mass at 10 a.m. Survived by wife, Anna Jones of Naalehu; sons, Douglas (Linda) Jones of California and Bradley Jones of Naalehu; sister, Nancy (Bob) Stackman of Florida; nieces and nephews. Nicholas Alexander Taylor, 47, of Pahoa died May 8 at Hilo Medical Center; He was born in Honolulu and raised on the Island of Hawaii. Memorial services/celebration of life at a later date. Survived by mother, Janet E. Taylor of Pahoa; stepfather, Crandall Leialoha of Hawaii; sister, Alison E. Taylor; brothers, James M. Taylor and William C. (Chanel) Taylor; nieces and nephews.
