Repaving continues on Kalaniana‘ole

The Hawaii County Department of Public Works will continue to resurface a portion of Kalaniana‘ole Street through Friday.

The current roadwork will extend from the Kings Landing entrance to Kolea Street and be conducted daily from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Friday.

Motorists can expect lane closures and flaggers directing traffic.

The next phase of paving will continue to Kauhane Avenue once the current paving is complete.

There are no other paving projects anticipated for Kalaniana‘ole after Kolea to Kauhane is complete, according to DPW.
