Edmund Keola “Poncho” “Boy” Daog Sr., 55, of Hilo died May 4 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a heavy equipment operator for Nan Inc., Isemoto Contracting Co. Ltd. and M. Sonomura Contracting Co. Inc., fisherman, hunter, baseball player and a member of Opihikao Congregational Church, Operating Engineers Local 3 District 17 and Hilo Trollers Association. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Friday (May 5) at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Memorial service at 6 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Linda Anne (Greenlaw) Dean, 82, of Henderson, Nev., formerly of Kalapana, died Sept. 2, 2022, at home. Born in Lawrence, Mass., she retired from teaching at at Paradise Hui Haumana in Hawaiian Paradise Park and was a member of the Ka Hui Kapa Apuna ‘O Hilo Quilting Club. Celebration of life Saturday (May 6) at the Greenlaw Compound in Keaau. Survived by husband, Robert Dean; children, Tricia (Michael) Davis, Robert (Erin) Dean Jr., Michael Dean, Gregory Dean, Malia (Patrick) Holmes-Baker, Ka‘ale (Christian) Sea, Maluhia (Alex) Ose and Ikaika Greenlaw; sister, Carol (Greenlaw) Sacchetti; brother, Michael (Cyndie) Greenlaw of Keaau.

Leonardo Lorenzo Francisco, 76, of Kapaau died April 25 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Laoag, Philippines, he was a retired steward for Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort and Spa and member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. All-night vigil from noon Friday (May 5) at the Francisco home in Kapaau. Prayer service at 5 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday (May 6) at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. Born in Wailuku, Maui, he was a retired Big Island Manager for the state Department of Labor, member of Hilo Higashi Hongwanji Mission, East Hawaii Kiwanis Club, Shinyukai Club, Hiroshima Kenjin Kai, Fukuoka Kenjin Kai, O.K. and Wreckers golf clubs, HGEA Mountain Ball League, Shinyukai Softball League and former Little League coach. Visitation 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday (May 6) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Casual attire. Trisha Lee-Ann Kauionalani Perreira, 50, of Ahualoa died April 1. Born in Hilo, she was a chef for Plates of Aloha and Paniolo Country Inn.
