Neal Kiyo Akamine, 63, of Hilo died April 11 at Adventist Health Castle Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Honolulu, he was a former Zippy’s restaurant manager, U.S. Navy veteran and member and musician at Haili Congregational Church. Private ceremony Thursday (April 27) on Oahu.
