Dan Alan Cole, 72, of Keaau died March 5 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Ann Harbor, Mich., he was an inventor, formerly employed at ManTech International Corporation in Germany, U.S. Air Force, Navy and Hawaii Army National Guard veteran and member of Mensa International. Graveside service noon Thursday (April 6) at the East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Survived by siblings, Carol D. Milazzo of Oregon, Mark H. Cole of Arizona and Michael J. Dennis Tadashi Fukuchi, 75, of Hilo died March 22 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired electronics technician, caretaker at Lyman Museum and U.S. Army Vietnam War veteran. Private services held. Survived by companion, Lynn Otsubo of Hilo; son, Kyle Fukuchi of Honolulu; daughter, Carisa Fukuchi of Honolulu; sister, Geri Kaupu of Hilo; brother, Marvin Fukuchi of Honolulu; two aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. Chris David Godoy, 68, of Hawi died March 13 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was retired from Kona Coffee Villas, worked for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and was a member of Big Island Volkswagen Club. Celebration of life 9:30 a.m. Saturday, April 15, at Spencer Beach Park pavilion. Beach attire. Survived by wife, Anita Poligratis Godoy of Hawi; children, Chris Daniel (Shelly) Godoy and Kristalin “Tee” (James Bach) Godoy of Hawi, Christan “Gary” (Sonnette) Godoy of Hilo; siblings, Margaret “Mugs” (Roy) Nuniez and Lorraine Summons of Hilo; in-laws, Kellie Hulama of Kawaihae, The Rev. Michael Shigeto Imaino, 64, of Kurtistown died Jan. 11 in Honolulu.
