Bradford Kuuipoaloha Bennett, 78, of Hilo, formerly of Oahu, died Dec. 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lahaina, Maui, he was a retired Honolulu police officer, security supervisor for Matson Shipping and U.S. Army veteran. Celebration of life 4-7 p.m. Friday March 24, at Hawaii National Guard Association Center, 891 Valkenburg St. in Honolulu. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Haunani Bennett of Hilo; sons, Brad Kaleookalani Bennett of Hilo and Brent Keliipono Bennett of Honolulu; two grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Robin Dwayne Govan, 56, of Hilo died Feb. 11 at Hilo Medical Center, Born in Detroit, he was a singer and entertainer. Survived by brothers, Gregory Jones of Culver City, Calif., and Ali Matias of Hilo; sister, La Donna Terell of Detroit; other family. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Anthony Basilio Likiche, 70, of Keaau died March 6 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Chuuk, Micronesia. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Thursday (Mar. 23) at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Linda Likiche of Keaau; children, Gloria (Ziggy Ichiro) Likiche of North Carolina, Loria (KD) Kaiko of Denver, Serafin (Konsalia) Likiche of Micronesia, Antelina Likiche of North Carolina, Orin Likiche of Keaau, Lindon Likiche of Oklahoma, Atlas Likiche of Honolulu and Lorain Likiche of Keaau; brother, Lukas (Carmen) Likiche of Micronesia; 18 grandchildren and a great-grandson; a niece. Emile W. Wery, 78, of Pahoa died Feb. 11 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired U.S. Army first sergeant, Vietnam War veteran who was awarded the Purple Heart and Combat Infantryman Badge, Hawaiian genealogy researcher, St. Louis School alumnus and held numerous leadership positions in veterans organizations, including senior commander of Veteran of Foreign Wars Hilo Post 2875; president of Korean War Veterans-Hilo; senior commander of Combat Infantrymen’s Association-Hilo and commander of the Military Order of the Purple Heart- Hawaii Island. Service 8:30 a.m. Friday, March 31, at East Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 in Hilo. Memorial donations to VFW Post 3875, P.O. Box 4582, Hilo, HI 96720. Survived by brother, William; sister, Yolanda; sons, Michael and Marcus; cousins. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.
