Wendy Laros, the president/CEO of the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce, has been appointed to a two-year term on the board of the Western Association of Chamber Executives.
WACE is an association of chamber of commerce executives and staff professionals with approximately 828 members in 21 western states and Canada.
The association is designed to promote and enhance the professional development of chamber of commerce executives, and is the largest state or regional chamber of commerce executives association in the United States.
Laros has been a Kona resident for more than three decades. Prior to joining the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce staff, she was an active chamber member and served as the chair of the Education and Workforce Development Committee.
