Maria “Louisa” Santiago, 93, of Hawi died Feb. 15 at North Hawaii Community Hospital in Waimea. Born in Kona, she was a housewife, mother, and member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the former Kohala Puerto Rican Club. Visitation 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 18, at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Halawa Catholic Cemetery. Raymond Katsumi Tanaka, 80, of Hilo died Jan. 27 in Honolulu. Born in Hilo, he was a retired tanker truck driver for The Gas Company and a U.S. Army veteran.
