Steven Kalani Angay Sr., 77, of Eden Roc Estates, formerly of Keaukaha, died Jan. 19 at home. He was a retired plumber, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, member of the VFW Hilo Post 3875, Plumber’s and Pipe Fitters Local 675 and Puhi Bay Ohana, hunter and fisherman, family man, and Hilo High School Class of 1963 alumnus. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Anatalia R. Dacusan, 86, of Hilo died Jan. 16 at The Queen’s Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she worked for a macadamia nut company and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Barry Kela Kamalii, 64, of Hilo, died Jan. 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a papaya farm worker. Private services held. Allan Bert Martin, Jr., 83, of Keaau died Jan. 21 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Kohala, he was a computer systems analyst for Ala Moana Hotel in Honolulu and US Marine Corps veteran. Rodney Daniel Maldonado, 57, of Hilo died Jan. 17. He was born in Hilo.
