Harry Kim Fook Aina, 89, of Las Vegas died Nov. 25 in Las Vegas. Born in Hilo, he worked primarily in the travel industry as a tour driver and musician in Hawaii, was retired from Polynesian Adventure Tours and was a graduate of Hilo High School and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Services held in Las Vegas. Survived by wife, Linda Aina of Nevada; sons, Blayne Aina of Colorado and Hewlen Aina of Hawaii; brother, Elia Loa of Hawaii; sisters, Roselani “Noe” Napeahi of Hawaii, Kay (Aaron) Makaiwi and Thankie “Nani” Nunnally of Nevada, Maile “Boopie” Aina of Hawaii; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Joyce Kathleen De Reis, 75, of Hilo died Jan. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a school campus aide at Kalanianaole School and receptionist for Dr. Guy Rapoza, DDS. Private services held. Survived by son, Stephen (Melissa) De Reis of Mississippi; sister, Barbara Koi of Naalehu; brother-in-law, Edward (Kathy) Reis of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Camacho of Paauilo, Linda Correia of Hilo, Carol Reis of California and Myrtle Rapoza of Mountain View; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Wallace “Eddy” Edwin Esco, 75, of Ocean View died Dec. 23 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Birmingham, Ala., he was a self-employed carpenter and coffee farmer, Little League baseball and T-Ball coach, played on the Ala Ama softball team, avid golfer at the Kona Country Club, U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran and member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 12122 in Kailua-Kona. Private services at a later date. Survived by wife, Nancy Esco of Ocean View; daughter, Miyoko Esco of Denver.; stepdaughter, Jessica (Barry) Evans of Calera, Ala.; brothers, Jackie Esco of Birmingham,, Ala., Robby Esco and Larry Esco of Destin, Fla.; three grandchildren.
