Stephanie “Landa” Yolanda Francisco, 64, of Hilo died Dec. 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was a cook for various restaurants and member of Malama Ka Pili Pa‘a. Megan Brigid McCaffrey, 76, of Kapaau died Nov. 10 at home. Robert Harvey Smith III, 78, of Kailua-Kona died June 3 at home. Born in Long Beach, Calif., he was executive vice president of finance for Multicare Good Samaritan Medical Center in Puyallup, Wash., a member of Kailua Bay Pier Group and U.S. Navy veteran.
