Jay H. Haraga, 63, of Falls Church, Va., formerly of Hilo, died Nov. 11 in Falls Church. Born in Hilo, he was a water treatment engineer in Fairfax, Va., and a graduate of Hilo High School and the University of Hawaii at Hilo. Services held in Vienna, Va. Manuel R. “Junie” Marques III, 80, of Ka‘u, died Oct. 14 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center in Hilo. Born in Pahala, he was a taxi driver-owner, heavy equipment operator, retired coffee farmer, U.S. Army veteran and former Hansen’s Disease patient at Kalaupapa, Molokai until declared cured in 1966. He was a 1960 graduate of Ka‘u High School and member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Pahala, Ka‘u Coffee Growers Cooperative and Pahala Nutrition Program. Services held. Gerald “Jerry” Lloyd Moulton, 74, of Hilo died Nov. 9 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Grand Forks, N.D., he was the owner of Moulton’s Custom Furniture, a carpenter and U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War. No local services. Francis Itsuo Oue, 91, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 9 at home. Born in Kealakekua, he was president of K. Oue, LTD. a macadamia nut farmer, member of Kona Young Farmers Association, committee member of the Kona Community Federal Credit Union, member of Kanaueue Kumiai and a retired Lt.
