Hilario “Papasan” Lorenzo Andrada, 99, of Hilo died Oct. 10 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan, Philippines, he was retired from Hawaii County Economic Opportunity Council and was a Philippine Army World War II veteran. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Ilima section. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Natividad Andrada of Hilo; son, Amadito (Lenita) Andrada; daughters, Clarita German, Magda (Danilo) Castasus, Gloria (Antonio) Inocencio, Marina (Josue) Agustin, Angela (Glenn) Yazaki, Angelita (Roland) Macaraeg and Hilda (Romeo) Rabang; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nephews and nieces. Gunther Hannes, 80, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 16 in Kailua-Kona. He was born in Germany. Private services 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 10. Survived by wife, Lorna Hannes of Kailua-Kona; daughter, Monica (Steve) Cripps of Florida; grandchildren. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.

Wendi Stinchcomb Molcilio, 68, of Hilo died Sept. 4 at home. Born in Southern California, she was an educator who last worked at Connections Public Charter School. Visitation 5-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10, at the Arc of Hilo, 1099 Waianuenue Ave. Service to follow. Celebration of life and lunch 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Onekahakaha Beach Park, pavilions 6 and 7. Survived by daughter, Kolise (Noelle) Sarono of Oregon; sons, Matthew (Kelsey) Lewis of Hilo and Andrew (Shalia) Molcilio of Texas; seven grandchildren; hanai children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Hayako Nishikawa, 101, of Hilo died Sept. 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pahoa, she was a retired seamstress for the former Kamehameha Garments and member of Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin. Survived by son, Steven (Eleanor) Nishikawa of Keaau; daughter, Susan (Phillip) Iranon of Hilo and Lucia (Lindsey Baird) Nishikawa of Australia; caregiver, Sydnie Iranon of Hilo; six granchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Barbara A. Richard, 88, of Ocean View died Oct. 29 at home. Born in Webber Falls, Okla., on Nov. 6, she was an activity director for a senior living nursing home. Private celebration of life service. Bernadette “Bernie” Wailani Canizo Satae, 61, of Hilo died Sept. 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hawaii, she was a maintenance cleaner, homemaker and firner member of the Kawaihae Canoe Club women’s team. Closed casket service noon Saturday, Nov. 12, at Kukuihaele Cemetery in Honokaa. Survived by mother, Rose Levita Lorenzo of Honokaa; sons, Alston Alika Albarado of Honolulu, Keoni Mikaele Satae of Hilo, Harley Davidson Satae and William Villiami Satae of Hilo; daughter, Ashley Malia Satae of Hilo; brothers, Rudy Levita of Mountain View and Joseph (Kanoa) AhPuck of Las Vegas; sister, Leenelle (Uelese) Pola of Honokaa; aunts, uncles and cousins. Regis Edward Taylor, Jr., 81 of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 6 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Cleveland, he was a co-owner of the Court Reporting Agency of Beebe-Taylor and Associates in Honolulu and managed Los Angeles County’s court reporting system. Services at a later date.
