Celine M. Carreira, 83, of Kaaawa, Oahu, died Sept. 10 at Hilo Medical Center. Private services held. Survived by four sons and a daughter; grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Ballard Family Mortuary.

Kevin Keo Kiyonaga, 60, of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 17 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Wailuku, Maui, he was a certified auto body technician at Kraftsman Auto Body and banquet porter at the former Keauhou Beach Hotel. A “car run” is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 22 starting at O’Reilly Auto Parts at Kona Coast Shopping Center and ending at Kona Palisades Pavilion. Celebration of life at 1 p.m. at the pavilion. Survived by companion, Jeannie Mack-McAfee of Kailua-Kona; sons, Keo Matsumoto of Pearl City, Oahu, and Kyle Kiyonaga of Beaverton, Ore.; stepson, Ian (Kristie) McAfee of Humble, Texas; daughters, Alicia Matsumoto of Pearl City, Oahu, Ashley (Micah) Naehu and Meagan Kiyonaga of Kailua-Kona; stepdaughter, Kristin (Brandon) Gunter of Reno, Nev.; mother, Marian Dias of Kailua-Kona; father, Albert Kiyonaga of Lahaina, Maui; brother, Steven (Lori) Kiyonaga of Hilo; sisters, Renee Kiyonaga-Moyer of Wailuku, Maui and Pohai Dias of Kihei, Maui; eight grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Stanley Susumu Nishihara, 81, of Hilo died Sept. 26 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hilo, he was a retired automotive mechanic for the former Hilo Motors and avid bowler. Visitation 2-3 p.m. Monday (Oct. 17) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 3 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by sons, Glenn (Maria Victoria) Nishihara of Hilo and Paul Nishihara of Honolulu; siblings, Shigeko Hirano of Hilo, Royden (Rose) Nishihara of Honolulu and Ellen (Clifford) Misaka of Torrance, Calif.; sister-in-law, Elaine Nishihara of Honolulu; two graudchildren; nieces and nephews. Evelyn Fusayo Otsuka, 92, of Hilo died Sept.14. Born in Kapehu, she was retired from Hilo International Airport, worked for the former Keaau Macadamia Nut Co., the former KK Tei Restaurant, Ben Franklin Store, was a member of United Public Workers and attended Hilo Church of the Nazarene. Private service held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by son, Harvey Otsuka of Hilo; daughters, Terry Ann Harada and Sandra (Wesley) Takai of Hilo, Arleen (Wayne) Yamasaki of Honolulu; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
