Darin Kalani Asagra, 56, of Hilo died Sept. 6 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in San Francisco, he was a delivery driver for NAPA Auto Parts and tattoo artist. Celebration of life 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at OTEC in Kailua-Kona. Saturnino “Junie” Macabio Cablay Jr., 69, of Ocean View died Sept. 3 in Kealakekua. Born in Honolulu, he was a carpenter and gardener. Service at a later date. Miyoshi Ikeda, 92, of Chula Vista, Calif., died Aug. 3 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a college professor, public school teacher and administrator and Army Ranger and paratrooper who served in Korea. Servicew with military honors held Sept. 19 at Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego. Survived by children, Edna Horiuchi of Los Angeles and Michael Ikeda of Beltsville, Md.; a grandson.

Donald Olaso, 87, of Hilo died Aug. 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Wahiawa, Oahu, he was a retired U.S. Army staff sergeant and Vietnam War veteran, and formerly employed at Longs Drugs and Sears. Visitation 8:45-9:30 a.m. Monday (Sept. 26) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Memorial Mass at 9:30 a.m. Military honors service 11:30 a.m. at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2 Pavilion. Casual attire.
