U.S. Army Corps of Engineers invites interested parties to bid on grazing land at Pohakuloa Training Area.

The grazing lease consists of 5,402 total acres broken into three areas: Waikii expansion, 1,567 acres; Northern Unit, 1,393 acres; and Southern Unit, 2,532 acres.

Bidders do not have to bid on all three areas.

The grazing leases will manage the reduction of wildland fire vegetation by using agricultural grazing as a tool.

That, in turn, will minimize impact to the Army training mission and environmental conservation stewardship goals.

For more information, contact USACE, Honolulu District Real Estate Office at (808) 835-4620 or CEPOH-RE@usace.army.mil.

Bids must be postmarked by the U.S. Postal Service or hand-delivered no later than Aug. 8 at 2:30 p.m.
