Born in Kapaau, she was a medical decoder and biller for Bridgeport Healthcare and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kohala Ward. Robert “Bob” E. Nelson, 83, of Kailua-Kona died July 8 at Hospice of Kona’s Nakamaru Hale. Born in San Diego, he was a tax attorney for the U.S. Treasury Department and U.S. Air Force veteran.
