Born in Kapaau, she was a rental car return agent with Budget Rent A Car and member of Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation 9-9:45 a.m. Saturday (July 23) at Hawi Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawi County Cemetery. Casual attire. Nicasio Ventura Juan, 105, of Pahoa, died June 28 at home. Clifford “Popsi” “Papa” “Grandpa” Yoshiharu Matsumura, 82, of Paauilo died May 31 at Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. Born in Honokaa, he was a journeyman carpenter and member of Carpenters Union Local 745, worked for his father’s former company, Chester Matsumura Carpentry, Hawaiian Dredging, Constructors of Hawaii, Dick Pacific and Isemoto Contracting, and was a member of Paauilo Hongwanji Mission and Paauilo Nutrition Club.
