Jessica Ann Alconcel, 57, of Hilo died June 4 at Hilo Medical Center, Born on Maui, she was a tour bus driver and member of Hilo Missonary Church. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Sunday (June 26) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Survived by children, Chassidy Alconcel, Malia Alconcel, Cisco Alconcel, Destiny Alconcel and Chico (Tiana-Marie Ventura) Iona-Alconcel of Hilo; hanai children; siblings, Jackie Jodoin and Michelle Alconcel Barajas of Pahoa, Angela Bonnie Jodoin of Hilo, Frank (Tema) Alconcel of Maui; 11 grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Frances Joyce Gouveia, 85, of Hilo died June 16 at home. She was born in Hilo. Visitation 10-11 a.m. Friday, July 1, at Ballard Family Mortuary. Kahiki Mark Henry Hodson Sr., 59, of Keaau died March 14 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Okinawa, Japan, he was a retired Hawaii County police officer and kahu/pastor and member of Christian Fellowship Church and Hilo Bandstand Ministry. Chiemi Izumi Motobu, 96, of Hilo died May 31 at a care home in Hilo. Born in Laupahoehoe, she was a retired Hilo Intermediate School English teacher, founder of Central Hilo Women’s Lions Club in 1992, the first “all women” club in the world, president and Lions’ district regional chair. Samuel Arthur Wheeler Jr., 76, of Kailua-Kona died June 21 in Kealakekua. Born in Alabama, he was a U,S.
