The Glenwood Transfer Station will be closed indefinitely after the station sustained damage Sunday from a fallen tree.

According to a statement from the county Department of Environmental Management, residents should instead take their household waste to the Volcano Transfer Station or other facilities until further notice.

The Volcano Transfer Station is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
