Are you a family caregiver for someone you love? The Caring for Caregivers Community Connections event brings together people, agencies and resources for caregivers to connect with services and support systems.

Connect with others and find resources to help navigate this journey from 8-10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Island Adult Care, Inc., 561 Kupuna Place, in Hilo. This is a free event.

With representatives from Hawaii Island Adult Care, Hawaii County Office of Aging, Services for Seniors, Hawaii Care Choices, Bay Clinic, The Alzheimer’s Foundation, The Arc of Hilo, AARP, Metrocare, and more, this is a one-stop shop to speak with others in our community who care for kupuna and others they love.

State Rep. Richard Onishi, State Sen. Laura Acasio and other legislative representatives will be in attendance. The event is co-sponsored by AARP.
