Eve May Blomgren, 96, of Hilo died May 21 at home. Born in Minneapolis, she owned the former Fireplace Hawaii. Celebration of life 4-8 p.m. Wednesday (June 1) in the meeting room at Bayshore Towers condominium. Casual attire. Survived by children, Greg Blomgren, Jill (Steve) Jancunski, Leilani Keao and Colleen Blomgren of Hilo; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Dorothy (Dot) Haraga, 92, Vienna, Va., formerly of Hilo, died May 20 in Aldie, Va. Born in Wailuku, Maui, she was a broker for Haraga Realty and member of Hilo United Methodist Church. Katsue Nishimura, 84, of Hilo, died May 15 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she was retired from the former Hawaii Motors. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Jiemone “Jie” Alohe Onukahi Keia Ku‘u Ka-ua Noe O Ke Kai Malu Oliva-Munoz, 24, of Kurtistown died May 7 at Hilo Medical Center. Peter Leslie Rosenstern, 71, of Ahualoa died April 9 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in New York City, he was a farmer and co-owner of Star of Roses Organics, an information technology technician for West Hawaii Today, reservations and IT manager for the former Kona Surf Resort, a former front office manager for the former Sheraton Royal Waikoloan Resort and personal chef.
