Ezra Miller, the actor who plays “The Flash,” was arrested again this morning.
According to police, Miller was taken into custody after an incident in the Leilani Estates subdivision just outside Pahoa.
Police allege Miller, who identifies as “they/them,” was angered after being asked to leave and reportedly threw a chair, striking a 26-year-old woman on the forehead, resulting in an approximate half-inch cut.
The woman refused treatment for her injury.
Miller, police said, was subsequently arrested after being seen on the roadway during a traffic stop at the intersection of Highway 130 and Kukula Street in Keaau.
According to a police log, the 29-year-old Miller, whose hometown of record is Stamford, Vt., was taken into custody at 1:44 a.m., booked on suspicion of second-degree assault and released at 4:05 a.m. pending further investigation.
Second-degree assault is a Class C felony that carries a potential five-year prison sentence, upon conviction.
This is the latest in a string of scrapes with the legal system Miller has experienced in the past month or so on the Big Island.
