Misa Jade Kaneshiro, 98, of Hilo died Feb. 1 at a private care home in Keaau. Born in Turlock, Calif., and sent with her family to Amache Relocation Center in Granada, Colo., during World War II, she was a board member of the former Food Fair Supermarkets and Kaneshiro &Sons, homemaker, gardener, member of senior bowling teams and a Hawaiian quilt and feather lei crafter.
