Filipe “Leppy” “Cowboy” S. Cuison, 86, of Hilo died Dec. 28 at home. Born in Hilea, Ka‘u, he was a retired journeyman welder for the former Ka‘u Sugar Co., owner of Akaka Falls Inc. Leslie Jiro Ha‘aheo Nomura Doctor, 38, of Pahoa died Sept. 19 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was owner of Mooloa Farms Service, worked at Close Construction, a member of the Flooring Union and black belt with Dragon’s Kaju Ken Bo. Celebration of life 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 12) at Uncle Robert’s in Kaimu. Casual attire; wearing of face masks and social distancing required. Baron Toshio Ebesugawa, 68, of Hilo died Jan. 8 at home.
