Janet Elizabeth Nelson Pombrio Butler, 84, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 4 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Orinda, Calif., she was a retired teacher at Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama on Oahu and San Francisco State University and member of Daughters of Hawaii and West Hawaii Wood Turners.
