Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating two teens reported as runaways in separate incidents.

Kelis Garmon-Mercado, 16, of Hilo, was last seen at her residence on Wednesday and is believed to have left home before 6 a.m. on Thursday.

She’s described as Caucasian, 5-foot-6-inches tall, 300 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She is known to frequent downtown Hilo.

And Kayzlyn Grammer, 14, was last seen in the 100 block of Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo at about 9 p.m. Wednesday.

She’s described as local, 5-foot-2-inches tall, 95 pounds, with a tan complexion, black hair and brown eyes. When last seen, she was wearing a green sweater with white stripes on the shoulders, blue jeans, and black shoes.
