Keaau seeks track coach

Keaau High School is looking for a boys and girls track coach for the upcoming spring season. All those interested may submit an application to the main office during business hours 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Hilo golf fundraiser

Friends of Vikings Golf will host its 36th annual fundraising tournament Saturday, Jan. 29, at Hilo Municipal Golf Course.

The format is a two-person modified scramble with a staggered start between 7-9 a.m. The cost for early bird entries is $130 per person, due by Jan. 19. The fee includes green fees, carts, tee prize, team prizes, four mulligans, four par-3 entries, bento, and some special prizes.

The tournament will follow COVID protection plan, so precautions will be taken.

Entries are available at the Hilo Muni pro shop.
