The inaugural Jimmy Correa Memorial infield camp, led by San Francisco Giants bench coach Kainoa Correa, will be held Tuesday, Dec. 28 at Edith Kanakaole Tennis stadium for grades 2 to 5 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., grades 6 to 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and grades 9 to 12 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

“My grandfather dedicated his life to sharing his passion for baseball with the Big Island community,” Correa said. “Following in his footsteps, I am proud to partner with the County of Hawaii, where he worked for 30+ years to run a series of free infield clinics for Big Island boys and girls who possess that same passion for baseball and softball.”
