The county Department of Parks and Recreation will be holding a public meeting on the design and development of a Hilo skate park.
The meeting is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium.
The project, which is planned for a parcel of land at the corner of Manono and Piilani streets across from the Civic, is undergoing an environmental assessment.
County officials, as well as representatives of the architect and the consulting firm conducting the environmental assessment will be on hand.
