Patrick Henry Menino Sr., 76, of Hilo died Nov. 10 at home. Born in Hilo, he was a retired cable splicer for Hawaiian Telcom, U.S. Army veteran, member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo and was active in the Hawaii rodeo community. Visitation 4-6 p.m. Monday (Nov. 22) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Wake service at 6 p.m. Visitation again 8:30-9:30 a.m. Tuesday (Nov. 23) at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial noon at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire; face masks and social-distancing required. Survived by wife, Joanne Menino of Hilo; sons, Patrick H. (Brandee) Menino Jr. of Keaau, Tim (Sherrie) Menino of Virginia and Gregg (Zerin) Menino of Hilo; brother, George R. Menino, Jr. of Hilo; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandchild; nephews, nieces and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.

Erenio “Ernie” “Junior” Brudo Ortiz Jr., 59, of Kailua-Kona died Nov. 5 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a service agent for E.A.N. Holding and auto mechanic. Services at a later date. Survived by companion, Latty Vierra of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Jessica (Kawika Rodriguez) Ortiz and Latasha (Riley Saplan) Ortiz of Kailua-Kona; sons, David Ortiz of Kauai and Aaron (Alissa) Ortiz of Waimea; father, Erenio Ortiz Sr., of Kailua-Kona; brothers, Alex (Sherry) Ortiz of Holualoa, Jeff (Rose Miranda) Ortiz and Leroy Ortiz of Kailua-Kona; sisters, Beverly (Jeremiah Fennegan) Sadumiano and Janet (Phil) Acorda of Kailua-Kona; four grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. John Allen Telisman Jr., 61, of Kurtistown died Nov. 8 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center.
