Mabel Naomi Castillo, 73, of Hilo died Oct. 3 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. She was born in Kohala. Visitation 9:30-10:30 a.m. Tuesday (Oct. 19) at Dodo Mortuary Chape. Celebration of Life at 10:30 a.m. Urn burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Seating limited; masks and social distancing required. Casual attire. Gary Neil Hagerman, 83, of Waimea, died June 3 at home. Born in Elmira, N.Y., he was a retired attorney, volunteer for Isaac’s Art Gallery in Waimea and Queens North Hawaii Community Hospital, past-president of Hospice of Hilo, active in community theatre and chorus, and a U.S. Marine Corps veteran. Thomas Lee Munden, 69, of Hawi died Sept. 24 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Glendale, Calif., on Oct. 28, 1951, he was a financial negotiator and member of Hawaii Farm Bureau and Archaelogical Institute of America. Services at a later date. Francisco Lavarias Padua, 89, of Waikoloa died Oct. 2 at home.
