Police identify woman killed in electrocution accident

Police have identified a woman killed Tuesday in an electrocution accident in Hawaiian Beaches subdivision in Pahoa.

Cindy Lehuanani Gonsalves-Pascual, a 58-year-old Pahoa woman, was killed Tuesday evening while attempting to leave a parked vehicle that live power lines had fallen upon.

An autopsy conducted Wednesday morning determined that Gonsalves-Pascual died of severe electrocution injuries, and the manner of death was ruled as accidental.
