John Fee Sik Chin, 83, of Hilo died Sept. 2 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in China, he was a retired physicist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a pianist and was active in tennis, aikido and kobudo taiko drumming. Private services held. Brian Kaohuokekuahiwi Enriquez, 54, of Pahoa died Sept. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, he was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pahoa Ward. Drive-thru celebration of life noon-2 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 9) at Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church (gravel parking lot).
