Lynda Marie Hauth, 75, of Hilo died on Sept. 14. No services. No known family. Survivors are asked to call Homelani Memorial Park at (808) 961-6051.

Mildred “Millie” Miyeko Kawano, 94, of Waimea died Sept. 28 at her residence. Born in Honolulu, she was a homemaker. Services at a later date. No flowers. Memorial donations to North Hawaii Hospice, 65-1328 Kawaihae Rd., Kamuela, HI 96743. Survived by son, John (Ceci Davenport) Kawano of Waimea; daughter, Joy (Darren) Torii of Honolulu; sisters, Kei Umemoto, Mei Lum and Susie Kaisaki of Honolulu; brother, Nobu Obayashi of Honolulu; a granddaughter. nieces and nephews. Miu Chee Matsumura, 96, of Hilo died Sept. 20 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, she and was a retired office manager for the former Morgan’s Service Station, retiree of Pacific Macadamia Nut Corp. and member of the Berean Bible Church and Choir. Public visitation 4-6 p.m. Tuesday (Oct. 5) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Limited seating; face masks and social distancing required. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, funeral and graveside services will be private. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by sons, Morgan (Cindy) Matsumura and Miles Matsumura of Hilo, Thomas (Beverly) Matsumura of Camarillo, Calif., Wayne (Hung) Matsumura of Seattle and Donn (Terri) Matsumura of Keaau; sister-in-law, Florence Lee of Hilo; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Mitsuo Sato, 89, of Keaau died Sept. 14. Born in Olaa (Keaau), he was a baker’s helper. Private service held. No koden (monetary gifts). Survived by brothers, Fumio (Victoria) Sato of Ewa Beach, Oahu, Richard Sato of Keaau and Stanley Sato of Honolulu; sister, Chieko Sato of Keaau; cousins and nephews.
