Natsuko Oshiro Aoki, 91, of Kealakekua died Aug. 7 at home. Born in Maunaloa, Molokai, she was a retired registered nurse, artist and quilter, board member of Kona Adult Day Center and member of Kona Okinawa Kenjinkai, Kona Kumamoto Kenjinkai, Kinuwai Kumiai, hrist Church Episcopal and Daifukuji Orchid Club. Services at a later date. No flowers. Memorial donations to Kona Adult Day Center, Hospice of Kona or Christ Church Episcopal. Survived by sons, Kevin Aoki of Gypsum, Colo., Brian (Suzette) Aoki of Surprise, Ariz., Warren (Lyn) Aoki of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ron (Andrell) Aoki of Mililani, Oahu; daughters, Shayne (Patrick) Edwards of Marysville, Calif., and Diane Aoki of Kealakekua; sisters, Doris Onishi of Hilo and Kikue Shimabukuro of Los Angeles; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;nieces and nephews. Alfred Harold Branco Jr., 63, of Laupahoehoe died Aug. 12 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honokaa, he was a state Highways Division worker. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by sisters, Dawn K. Asato of Hilo, Kahu Alvira P. (Laurence) Cacabelos of Laupahoehoe and Geraldine “Gerry” (Peter) Ebaniz of Kona; brother, Dwayne K. Paul “The Honda Man” M. Eslit, 88, of Las Vegas, formerly of Hilo, died Aug. 16. Born in Waimalu, Oahu, he was a retired civilian supervisor for Military Airlift Command at Hickam Air Force Base, retired from Big Island Honda/Theo Davies Euromotors, U.S. Coast Guard veteran, graduate of Waipahu High School and Hawaii Business College, past president of the Hilo Exchange Club and member of Kanoelehua Industrial Area Association who was actively involved in Christian church activities, softball leagues and scholarship pageants. Jobie Kapena Genegabus, 31, of Kailua-Kona died July 29 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Kealakekua, he was a self-employed fisherman. Private services at a later date. Jeanette Kam Yau Maa, 90, of Kailua-Kona died Aug. 11 at home. Born in Hawaii, she raised her family in Hawaii and California. Services at a later date. Diane Setsuko Oshima, 84, of Hilo died Aug. 3 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kalopa, she was retired from the Department of Education and a member of the Niigata Kenjinkai and HGEA Retirees. Private services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by son, Darryl Oshima of Hilo; brothers, Takeo (Jackie) Kato of Los Angeles and Masao (Lorraine) Kato of Pearl City, Oahu; sister, Shirley (George) Ito of Hilo; sister-in-law, Sadako Kato of Paauhau; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
