Tomeo Kanetani 90, of Kurtistown died July 12 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center in Hilo. Masako Matsumoto, 92, of Aiea, Oahu, died July 19 at Navian Hawaii, formerly Hospice Hawaii in Kailua, Oahu. Born in Kona, she was a cook at Island Nursing Home. Private services.
