Catherine Matsuda, 85, of Hilo died July 24 at Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. Born in Hakalau, she was retired from the former KK Place, had worked for the former KK Tei, Roy’s Gourmet and other restaurants and was a member of Kilauea Hawaii Pidgin Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
