Henry Kelley Brown, 69, of Honolii, died July 19 in Hilo. Born in San Bernadino, Calif., he was a retired freelance tile layer and a member of the Hilo Semi-Pro Football League. Lynn Jenkinson-Kaawaloa, 76, of Keaau died July 7 at home. Born in Chicago, she was a retired social worker and licensed practical nurse for Bay Clinic in Pahoa. Shawn Walter O’Connell, 51, of Captain Cook died July 28 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Sacramento, Calif., he was a general contractor. Services will be held at a later date. Ernest Ruiz Sr., 90, of Pahoa died July l6 at home. Born in Waimea, Kauai, was retired from the Hayward, Calif., Department of Water Supply. Clarence “Pola” Salvador, 81, of Hilo died July 1 at Legacy Hilo Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. Born in Laupahoehoe, he was a retired heavy equipment operator for the former Hilo Coast Processing Co. and member of Hawaii Island Archery Club. David George Vetsch, 75, of Pahoa died July 22 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in La Crosse, Wis., he was a retired iron worker for the NW Iron Worker Union 625. and served in the U.S. Navy aboard the since-decommissioned aircraft carrier USS. Constellation (CVA 64).
