Ameil Kealoha Akimseu, 82, of Hilo died April 4 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Kalaoa, he was a retired truck driver for Kuwaye Trucking Co. and U.S. Air Force veteran. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday (July 24) at Dodo Mortuary chapel. Memorial services at 10 a.m. Seating limited to 25 persons; face masks and social distancing required. Casual attire; no flowers. Bernadette Beverly “BeBe” Amar, 72, of Pepeekeo, died June 27 at home. Born in Hilo, she was a retired sales associate for Sears, and member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Pepeekeo Community Association. Russel Amos Botelho Sr., 69, of Mountain View, formerly of Paauhau, died June 29 at home. Born in Honokaa, he was a retired diesel mechanic for the former Paauhau and Hamakua sugar companies, business agent for International Longshore and Warehouse Union Local 142, private investigator for Victor V. Richard Rabisa, 89, of Lakewood, Wash., died June 25 in Lakewood. Born in Kaiwiki, Hilo, he was a U.S Army veteran of Korean and Vietnam wars.
