Cecelia Marie Amend, 89, of Hilo died July 10 at home. Born in New York City, she was homemaker. Burial 10 a.m. Tuesday (July 20) at Alae Cemetery, new section. Face masks and social distancing required. Survived by daughter, Nancy (Randy) Amend of Anchorage, Alaska; son, Oliver (Sarah) Amend Jr. of Kasilof, Alaska; 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Philip “Phil” Anthony Conceicao, 81, of Honaunau died June 12 at a private care home. Born in New Bedford, Mass., he was a farmer. Private services. Edward Michael Naihe, 71, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, died May 4 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was a heavy equipment operator, member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 1186 and Pukaana Congregational Church. Services at a later date. James Blair Stanton, 67, of Kailua-Kona died July 8 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Burbank, Calif., he was a self-employed painter, musician, singer and waterman.
