Bryan Takeo Asato, 44, of Hilo died May 14 at Hawaii Care Choices Pohai Malama in Hilo. Born in Hilo he was employed as a sales manager at T.H.Y. and Associates, Inc. and formerly employed at Lids and Foot Locker on Oahu. Visitation 1:30-3 p.m Saturday, June 19, at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Private memorial service will follow. Casual attire. Social distancing and face masks required. Survived by wife, Chatney Asato of Hilo; mother, Audrey Asato of Hilo; father, Dean (Irene) Asato of Las Vegas; mother-in-law, Susan (Jerry) Takata of Hilo; father-in-law, Lenard Graham of Mountain View; sister-in-law, Kimberly Graham of Hilo; brother-in-law, Xylon Takata of Hilo; grandmother-in-law, Ruth Cabarloc of Papaikou; one niece; aunts, uncles and cousins. Randy Rowell Cabalis, 50, of Hilo died May 28 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was self-employed and loved to fish and pound opihis. Services held. Jerry Patrick Domingo, 63, of Hilo died June 8 at his home. Born in Chicago and raised in Pahala, he was a member of the New Hope Hilo Praise and Worship team, had a degree in culinary arts, and coached and refereed basketball. Drive-by service noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 15, at Ballard Family Mortuary in Hilo. Survived by wife, Loretta Domingo of Hilo; daughters, Thalia K. Pacheco and Vanessa M. Pacheco of Mililani, Oahu; brother, Ricky Domingo of Chicago; sisters, Patti Stoffel and Laurie Lee of Chicago; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; aunts, uncles and cousins. Mae Midori Harano, 88, of Kealakekua died May 10 at her residence. Born in Kealakekua, she was a salesclerk at Ace Hardware Store and a member of Kingsley Kumiai and Kona Hongwanji Buddhist Temple. Gloria Figueroa Yates, 70, of Kailua-Kona died June 1 at her residence. Born in Hawaii, she was housekeeper for Angel’s Cleaning Service and various condominium units throughout Kailua-Kona and Waikoloa, a cosmetologist, and a security guard for Hawaii Community College and Securitas Security at courthouses in Kona and Waimea. Services will be held at a later date. Survived by son, Kenneth Yates of Hawaiian Paradise Park, Theo (Lacey) Kawasaki and Kevin (Noelani Cariaga) Yates, of Kailua-Kona; daughters, Nobilee (Darren) Cho of Captain Cook and Piilani (Jaime) Jaramillo of Arizona; sisters, Lucille Kauhaihao of Washington, Lori (Reggie) Marcello of Kailua-Kona and Emelia (Robert) Fernandez of Kohala; brother, Gilbert Figueroa of Vancouver, Wash.; 20 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.
