Darryn Haruto Yamamoto, 67, of Hilo died Oct. 7, 2020, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Pahala, he was retired from the county Highway Maintenance Division, worked for HPM Building Supply and was a member of United Public Workers Retirees.
