National Alliance on Mental Illness programs are for people whose lives have been affected by mental illness. NAMI Hawaii is committed to offering education, support, and advocacy programs for family caregivers and individuals living in recovery from mental illness.

Through NAMI Hawaii, meet others who have struggled with the mental illness of their loved ones or people living in recovery from mental illness. Come together to share struggles, promote hope and build a better tomorrow for loved ones and for ourselves.

NAMI Signature Family Support Groups are for caregivers or supporters of family or loved ones with mental health conditions. Join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom. NAMI FSG meetings are free, confidential and safe groups for individuals 18 years or older.

NAMI Big Island Affiliate leads Family Support Groups at 6 p.m. on the last Friday of the month online via Zoom. To sign up for the next meeting to be held on May 28, contact Carol Denis, NAMI Hawaii volunteer at bigisland@namihawaii.org or call 935-0615. For more information, visit www.namihawaii.org.
