Born in Koolauloa, Oahu, he was a retired manager for Waikoloa Village Golf Club, member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Waikoloa Ward, U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran and former Military Sea Transportation System merchant seaman. Larry Dean Snook, 75 of Hilo, formerly of Marysville, Calif., died March 23 at Hilo Medical Center.
