Esther Louise Lopez, 90, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 22 at Nakamaru Hale. Born in Oxnard, Calif., she was a retired federal civil service employee at Fort Ord, Calif., member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hospice of Kona volunteer and translation, legal, medical support services volunteer to the local Hispanic community.
