Taxpayers beware

I recently renewed my motor vehicle registration. In return, I also acquired a surprise.

I received a notice of it being due by the end of March 2021, in January 2021. Living in this time of a pandemic, I decided to mail my money early. To my surprise — mostly abhorrence — my vehicle registration month has now changed to January, robbing me of two months! Really?

What have I learned?

Wait until the month it’s due. I’m feeling ripped off, and just wanted to alert others as to how our local government operates.

Losing, yet winning

Always losing, and then winning anyway.

Donald Trump’s impeachment vote was 57 guilty, against 43 not guilty. And this means Trump won.

It reminded me of the 2016 election when Trump lost by almost 4 million votes, and then won anyway.

And I realized Trump’s whole life was like that.

Trump inherited his father’s very lucrative business, and hundreds of millions of dollars.

Then Trump tried to do a lot of things on his own, and they all failed.

Trump had to file for bankruptcy four times, but instead of being broke, since he was bankrupt, he was given almost $1 billion in loans.

Trump was able to write off $1 billion dollars in taxes. Trump was able to not pay taxes for 15 years.

Trump was able to pay just a few hundred dollars in taxes after that.

Now, Trump’s businesses are failing again, and he’s about to lose all the golf courses.

You know what that means. Trump’s about to get another $1 billion from a bank that will never get it back, because, once again, someone in that bank is connected to Trump somehow.

Makes you wonder if Trump sold his soul to Satan.
